I still am one

I was 14, a few months shy of 15. Girl was a senior while I was a freshman. She was a young senior though. Had just turned 17. She used to drive me home in her brand new 98’ Acura CL after school on days she didn’t have cheerleading practice. I had separated my non throwing shoulder so I didn’t have football practice everyday after school and was now able to go straight home.

One half day/ early dismissal after school in late September she was saying how the weather was perfect to swim and work on her tan. We had a pool at my parents house so I asked her if she wanted to stay over and swim. She eagerly accepted the invitation.

Now, it really didn’t cross my mind that I had chance to have sex with her. I knew she was attracted to me but didn’t know at the time she really liked me. I was 14 and was thinking to myself I would try kissing her to see how she reacted. Really even didn’t cross my mind something sexual would happen that day.

We swung by her house right quick to grab her bikini. She runs inside, runs back out with her bag and a beach towel. When we make it to my house I go to my bedroom to put some swimming trunks on and she goes in my little brothers room to change. I come out of my bedroom to get a drink and snack from the kitchen and wait for her. After 10 minutes she still hadn’t come out so I went to the bedroom door and asked if she was ok. She said yes and will be right out. About 2 minutes later she hollers my name so I go to the bedroom door to see what she wanted. She asked if I would come in and help her with the strap on her top. I said sure. I opened the door and there she stood with a beach towel wrapped around her from just above her titties down to her knees. She asked me if I liked her. I said yes and she walks over to me and we start kissing. I immediately got a boner. She dropped her towel and I laid her on the bed and went at...for all of a minute.

We both put clothes back on, swam a little, go back inside and went at it again. This time I lasted a little longer.

She and I ended up dating for a little over a year. Not exaggerating when I say this girl was gorgeous and still is to this day. She was a finalist for homecoming and prom. Very intelligent, straight A student, just awesome all around. I never thought we would’ve dated that long. When she started at LSU and wasn’t around as much I started fooling around with a couple other chicks and she found out I cheated on her. That was it. We did rekindle our relationship for almost a year when I graduated high school and started college. We had even talked about getting married. She wanted to get married but I had just started college and wasn’t making enough $ to even consider getting married. She ended up breaking up with me again because I wouldn’t propose.

According to her and later confirmed by her best friend, I was the second person she had ever slept with and she was absolutely in love with me.

In the back of my mind I always thought the main reason she liked me so much at first was because she was in love with my older brother who was a year ahead of her and graduated before my freshman year. My brother never dated her because he was in a serious relationship with his now wife since his sophomore year. I was always taller than everyone my age and matured faster than most. There were several upperclassmen who hated me because they were jealous I was dating this chick.

I remember that day I lost my V card so vividly.

When I lost my wife a few years back she was one of the first people to reach out to me.

She actually called me last Sunday evening to talk. We talked for a while. She got a divorce just last year. She asked if I wanted to go do something but I declined initially. Called her back Saturday and said I would go to dinner with her. We’re going out Friday night. She has 1 kid, a 6 year old boy which doesn’t bother me. I know that if I ever remarry there’s a 95% chance the woman will have atleast 1 kid because there aren’t many women aged 30-40 who don’t have kids. unless I date someone in there early 20s. I’ll be 36 in July and shell be 39 in August. She takes really good care of herself. Anxious to see where things go. I’ve dated a couple great women since my wife passed but pushed them away before things got really really serious. No woman will ever be able to replace my wife but I think I’m ready to move now and get serious.
