Afghan veteran in standoff with police over red flag laws in up state NY

He was reported for owning 30 round capacity magazines and the cops blocked the streets this morning in an attempt to arrest him under New York’s newly minted red flag law. Things are getting tense as the police are now threatening to cut off internet and cell service, removing his ability to communicate with the outside world.
Wake up, America.

That’s exactly what they’re going to do. They don’t like being made to look foolish and he’s been doing that for seven hours now. He has over 51,000 followers on Instagram and he’s been posting since this event began.
