He had a small teaching role, but was primarily there for religious services, sacramental prep, and retreats.

A guy comes to your school after being removed from another school due to multiple sexual abuse allegations and you put him in charge of off-campus overnight retreats for boys.

Catholics always wonder why us non-Catholics snicker at you. It's shite like this. And I know. You have a ready made excuse. You always do when it comes to young kids being molested by the clergy within your church. Just like your parents and grandparents had their excuses rehearsed and ready.

Who was the other English teacher lady that everyone said was smoking in the women's bathroom and her face looked like leather?

Never had her, but could it be Ms. Wedwick or Wedgewick? Name was something like that.

So I had it partially correct. Forgot she was a Dr. I assume the Phd variety.

Taught Freshman and Jr English and Coached basketball. He was definitely there your freshman year. I think he left before you graduated.

Eldringhoff and Judy Stewart were my religion teachers.

I had Stewart for one year (maybe more) and bless her heart, she was just so clueless.

Our religion class was after English class (Billings I think) and there was always a bunch of writings on the chalkboard from his class. Whenever we had a religion test, someone almost always managed to get a copy of or had answers to the test.

There was typically enough time for someone to write the answers to her test in between the writing already on the chalkboard and she NEVER noticed.

Funny, but also sad that a bunch of dumbass boys felt the need to cheat on a religion test.

I was lucky enough to have him freshman and junior year while having Billings sophomore and senior year. I hated English, but I loved both of them as teachers.

We had Miss Hightower there when I was there teaching sophomore English. But, she was pretty cute too and wore some tight skirts.

You're thinking of Ms Estevson(?). She taught Latin not sure about English.

Estevan…that’s the teacher whose name I couldn’t remember. Definitely taught English as well as Latin. She was one of my teachers and I can promise you I did not take Latin.

Br. Francis was at Brother Martin for my 8th grade year before moving on to Catholic in BR. I always thought he was a devious scumbag. Finding out his complicity in this is validating and disgusting at the same time for me.

Prayers for the victims of this disgusting behavior.

Some of these are girls claiming #Metoo type crap.

Our priest at my high school got accused and “relieved of his duty”/forced into retirement. He was always a standup, solid guy. Now that I say it out loud, may be some truth there.

I’m guessing we probably banged each other around pretty good on the football field during practice.
