Have you checked how much expansion gap they gave the floor? Because my first guess is that the crack install team didn't leave an expansion gap.

The noises will change as the seasons do.

Not only that but they over estimated the waste by almost 340 sq so I have 20 boxes of bamboo that they won’t buy back bc it’s discontinued. I’m going to hunt this worthless sob down.

Use words like fat shaming, bullying, and harassment. Then ask them if they can provide the labeling on either the flooring or the underlayment that shows an occupant weight limit. Ask them where in the quote or estimate that they provided does it show a weight limit. And then look for a weight limit anywhere you can for floating flooring. It doesn’t sound like your wife is that big to cause the issue. shite, she’s walking across the floor. It’s not like you have to wheel her across. I saw a chick in Walmart today that was in a scooter, and her husband/boyfriend/whatever had to give it a little push to get it going from a stop. I bet her floors don’t squeak. And she’s probably wayyyy bigger than what you are talking about.

Huey is right about the expansion gap. That will usually become unbearable about 90 days in.

Own installer. And we were prepared for all of LL’s BS, answered every question knowing we did everything right but I’m the end LL has that out. Doesn’t change the fact they called my wife fat via email for their shitty product
