We’ve had the misfortune of being a neighbor and baring witness to a self-centered jerk. In a nutshell, he is relentlessly hitting an absurd amount of golf balls into the lake. There isn’t an HOA, so, unfortunately, not much can be done diplomatically/legally.

We purchased this lake house to enjoy a quick weekend getaway, however, we have been unable to enjoy our time there due to this dastardly person. I’m sure hitting countless golf balls into the lake isn’t ideal for the ecosystem and the greater good of this small community.

Scared he is going to fill the pond up with golfballs.

Or you just don't like seeing him have a good time?

Get your scuba gear on and go fish them out and sell them on the golf course. You'll be saving the lake and making money

Seems like a great time to learn scuba diving/snorkeling and earn some money selling used golf balls. Assuming no really dangerous creatures, it shouldn't be a problem.

That’s true. I could probably retrieve thousands of golf balls.

Hell, I've set up yard markers in a neighborhood lake and built a tee box in the back yard... planted Ryegrass seed, mixed with Kentucky Bluegrass, and went to town for a year, until some buzzkill douche canoe pulled up the markers

Don't be a douche canoe, Paul... they get their doorsteps shite on

An HOA isn’t needed to enforce littering laws. Regular legal system can do that. Just film him hitting into the Lake and tell him if he does it again you are taking legal action.

What a harrowing circumstance. Im sure if you contact your legal representatives they will be able to help you plot a course of action to upend this subhuman clodpoll.

Good point. I’ll have to check with the county too to verify their litter laws.
