How old are they?
How long have they been together?
Do they have jobs?

Get a job. Take care of your responsibilities. How old is he and his girlfriend.

That’s like giving advice to someone who just ran out of gas!

He’s 25, she’s 29, they both have decent paying jobs. They’ve been together 7 months.

Be smart
If you can't be smart, be careful
If you can't be careful, be a good parent

Tell him to marry her, start a family, and NOT contribute to the continuing downfall of American society with increasing numbers of single parent households

Regardless of how much he despises her and hates everything about this, tell him to stick with her and be a good dad until the kid is 18 but DO NOT marry her. About 6 months prior to the kids 18th birthday he should begin to empty the money in all bank accounts including retirement accounts and stash any savings away in overseas accounts. Once the kid finally turns 18 tell her how he really feels about this bullshite and move on with his life. Seriously this is better than sending her half his paycheck for the next 18 years while she bangs other guys and pisses his money away while posting horseshite selfies on social media about how much she loves supporting her child. Just being real.

It will ultimately be up to the woman as well but this doesn't sound like a bad situation by any stretch

Should have pulled out and went for the mouth. Seems like a lot of work in the moment, but in the end it's worth it.

Remind him that his child is a little version of HIMSELF!!

Be a great parent, love that child exponentially and make sure he/she has and learns everything faster than YOU had or never had.

*Edit* and make sure you leave that little angel as much as possible when you pass.

That`s real talk.

They just need to focus on the child they are having & have a healthy relationship with each other regardless of if they stay together or not.
Save as much money as they can, discuss financials before baby comes & get it in writing if they aren’t looking to get married now.

Not too young and been together a decent time, what is the inclination to stay together?

Does your "buddy" live in a part of the country with snow where some porch steps might be icy and someone might take a tumble and land on their belly? Just asking.

Does your "buddy" like Disney World and maybe want to take his girlfriend on some roller coasters? Again, just asking.
