Let's see.
You remove the grate.
Shovel out the dirt, debris and veg.
Place it in the gutter.
Done.

Not a good plan IMO.

Btw, didn’t a contractor just get fired and fined last week for illegally disposing of the shite they pulled out of these basins,

It’s a trap. I will leave my catch basin as it it and if my house floods then that’s what i pay insurance for.


BTW, all the catch basins around my house are free and clear.

Something we found out from electricians who have to do some work in NOLA tunnels:If there are no cockroaches, get out. Cockroaches are a sign of good air. No cockroaches means either carbon monoxide or other killer gases.
