I don't know how I came to drink so little. When I think back to my twenties and thirties on days I went fishing or to a party or something and drank a 12 pack I wonder how that could possible be. Today, I might drink one or two beers ever once in a while---now when I do have one, I want a real one not some light beer.

I will occasionally have one or two drinks of Dickel. I want it straight up--maybe on ice. Occasionally I will have a glass of wine with a meal.

I didn't set up to quit drinking--it just happened.

oh yes they do. 25 year old single dudes making north of 70k are going to go out all of the time. Doing a lot worse than day drinking at brunch.

Hang around a few lawyers, or investment bankers. They ain't saints. Hell, some of my doctor friends are rowdier than anyone.

this type of thread is always funny (not just alcohol related). it's basically just people projecting their personal beliefs/situation on the entire population. someone more or less quits vice at 20/25/30 so that's what everyone should do, or they have a problem.

a few other topics like like this are working out, dressing well, boys/girls trips, and video games.

we have different ideas of success. And if you want to sustain it over the long term, you cut out that useless shite. Clearly you guys get so fricking butthurt when people talk about alcohol consumption. Bunch of functioning alcoholics in here that get their feels hurt.

As it’s been stated before, Louisiana has an odd obsession over alcohol and the role it plays in everyday life. At least a few times a month it’s some poster on here asking how will they ever live without alcohol. It’s fricking pathetic. No wonder LA is last in almost every statistical category.

70k at 25 will put you in the top 12% of earners. Anyone making north of that is doing good for that age. Day drinking at brunch on Saturdays isn't going to turn them all into failures.

i know this is the O-t where everyone was turning down 150k with 20k signing bonuses before they left LSU
