Didn't reply in the recent "most famous person you've shook hands with" thread, but Adam West would have been my answer. Met him and Burt Ward at a car show when I was about 11. Decked out in full Batman and Robin costumes. Got handshakes and autographed photos. RIP

Setting the stage: I was in college when the tv show was big. I was oblivious re batman tv show. Stayed in nyc at aunts house, interviews for my first real job.
After dinner, my aunt explains that my boy cousins entire universes revolved around watching batman. The little guys dress up as batman and robin to watch it.
