If I was buying new I would. But resale and reliability are kind of a direct relationship

Wife has a 2025 gv80. No complaints. Plenty of power, interior is awesome. 3k miles on it so still way too new to know anything.

I’d find a 22 Lexus Rx with the v6 and low miles before buying either.

Have a GV70, as do 3 of my friends. Awesome vehicles, love them. We’ve all had no problems.

My Genesis sedan started having a lot of electrical issues at about 6 or 7 years, maybe around 80k miles. The driver's side window got stuck in the down position, the electric seat stopped moving, the HVAC wouldn't turn on or off. It got expensive to maintain. When the drivetrain had some major issues, I traded it in.
I loved it when it was under warranty. I hated it when it wasn't.

Lots of down votes.
At 80 you can see the hood flex.
80 isn't that fast, meemaw.

Put it this way, I hit a deer with my 2016 Toyota Camry with 100,000 miles. Usaa totaled it and paid out $12,000 to me. I had the car for 10 years and it’s stickered for $27,000 in 2015. That’s why resale value is top of the list for me. It’s not that I was planning on selling it anytime soon but life happens and when it does I wanted back as much money on a depreciating assets as I could get.

My wife has an MDX. The infotainment system is 10 years behind, and the paint started flaking away. It hasn’t been a bad car, but I probably wouldn’t buy another one
Who cares and stop being a bitch, along with your wife. It’s all about the driving experience. If it were me, I’d get rid of all the infotainment shite and require a manual.
I own an Acura ITS (the more grown up civic type r) and I actually look forward to driving into work.
