You can google image search the wuhan virology lab

But you shouldn't need to. If you think this is really inside the lab you're a moron

I don't think anyone is saying this. But if the DM is to be believed, these photos were posted by the lab on its own website (and later removed). The story is that these are lab personnel doing work on behalf of the lab. Don't know the location, but surely you must understand that the lab was doing lots of work and sample gathering outside the actual lab itself, right?

It was contract workers preparing bat blood samples off site that were then delivered to the lab.

Seems somewhat reasonable to assume of of those geniuses could have contracted the bat virus from the blood on top of their takeout lunch box. Then later met friends at the wet market to enjoy sauteed dog testicles or whatever those nasty frickers eat over there.

Eta; Tennis Player Slope has a live bat in one hand, and a needle in the other. That may not be a smoking gun. But it is a ticking time bomb.

Maybe not stated as artfully as possible. Scientists from the Wuhan Virology Lab. Is that better? Is this really so hard to understand?

Edit: And need I remind you that these photos came from the lab's own freaking website?

I fully understand what the picture is from. You’re the one getting defensive when the thread title is literally saying they are at the virology lab

Just pointing that out

So you are saying that the DM is wrong and that these photos were not on the lab's website and recently removed? Understand your position, but I'm going to need bit more before deciding who to the believe. Right now, I am inclined to believe the newspaper.

It's alarming how fricking stupid some of us are. And yet we are here talking about how dumb and incompetent other ppl are in the same breath.

Embarrassing really.

I don’t think they’re in the Wuhan Lab. But I’m pretty sure vacutainers are not used to manufacture iPhones either.

I'm less concerned with the source and more concerned that the pic looks like a jpeg from 1997 that's been getting right clicked and saved for 20 years.
