Actor and activist James Cromwell has gone from “Succession’s” Uncle Ewan to real-life supergluin’ — pasting his hand to a midtown Manhattan Starbucks counter on Tuesday to protest the coffee chain’s extra charge for plant-based milk.

Starbucks outlets in the United States charge 50 cents to a dollar more for drinks made with plant-based milk.

Everyone has a hill they are willing to die on. This one is wierd.

Which is the way it should be. But many people don’t like freedom anymore

Do. These people not understand that the process to make milk isn't cheap and that the only reason cow milk is cheap is the vast amount produced. Oat milk isn't even 5 years old yet

None. It’s made from chemicals.

Actors should stick to acting.
Athletes should stick to doing athlete stuff.

Since Cromwell said this was a concern in "communities of color", I tested it out. I picked up lunch from a local black owned cafe and said "are you concerned about vegan milk options?" The owner (a friend) looked at me and said "Mr. Chin, what are you talking about?" The others looked at me like I was some kind of nut.
