Yes. Drive-bys are mass shootings, but the media has an agenda when they report on them and when they don't.

There are some discrepancies among organizations about what constitutes as mass shooting...3...4...5...6...more than 6?

But most organizations tend to stick with the 4 or more criteria.

there is no specific definition for “mass shooting” that the media uses consistently so it’s hard to really track

each federal agency/non profit/activist group define it how they want

There probably should be a way to categorize these shootings between those that occur in “soft target” areas where innocents get hurt (Las Vegas, El Paso, etc.) and those that occur in gang/turf war-related retaliations.

He should have done this in California. In Texas, he will get the death penalty and year in Huntsville waiting for the needle.

They don’t report any of the “active shooter” situations in NOLA, Chicago, Detroit, LA, etc. I wonder why the interest in these?

Those cities make the media really feel like they’re in the dark, if you know what I mean.

This happens nearly every weekend in New Orleans, but never makes national news.

Media expanded their definition of “mass shooting” so they can push the gun violence epidemic narrative.
And now 95% of “mass shootings” are done by Democrats.
