In a way I agree. Someone being called the n-word garners sympathy from others.

Being called a racist means people will irrationally hate you and will try to get you fired.

Is it?

Lets be logical

Calling someone the n-word is assholish and wrong, but all it can do is hurt someones feelings and draw up emotion

Accusing someone of being racist, whether true or not, can cause the person to lose their job and livlihood

Which is worse Salmon?

How does that compare to when an innocent white person is called racist? A white person then loses their job, some friends, social status, and money. And in extreme cases may catch a charge in this day and age.

You are racist.

You have to do it publicly and put their real name in front of it or else HR doesn’t see it and start the process.

I've been called a "Nazi" because I have a German last name. I've been called a "Dirty Jew" because I have Jewish relatives and a nose shaped a certain way.

Never been called a racist though.

Absolutely. You can’t come back from the humiliation, shaming and reputation destruction involved with being publicly labeled a racist. It’s the one unforgivable sin in modern America.

Eh I get that argument, but calling someone the N word is unquestionably worse no matter what modern day idiots are doing with their cancellations.

Are we talking about making up an actual accusation of racism or just the throwaway "You're a racist if you believe in or vote for _____" type of statement?

A false accusation (around race, sexual abuse, etc) with the intent to tangibly harm someone's reputation, livelihood, or freedom is much worse than someone using the n-word or any other kind of slur.
