Accused Child Rapist Released On Bail Twice In One Week By The Same Judge

A New Mexico man has been arrested for the third time for allegedly sexually assaulting multiple young girls after he was released on bail twice in the same week. Raymond Hernandez was arrested on January 15 after he was accused of raping his girlfriend's 13-year-old daughter and assaulting her friend. He was charged with criminal sexual contact of a minor, abuse of a child, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of battery. He was released on a $10,000 bond by Judge Ernest Ortega and ordered to wear an ankle monitor.
Just two days later, Hernandez was back in court, this time for allegedly molesting a 19-month-old child. He went in front of Judge Ortega again and was released for the second time on a $20,000 bond . A few days after getting out, Hernandez was accused of raping his neighbor's five-year-old daughter before fleeing the state.

I 100% believe that public executions or punishments ala Singapore are superior to mass incarceration. Very few people actually need to be locked away.

Couldn’t agree more. I’d love to see that happen. Mass incarceration doesn’t do anyone a bit of good except for those getting rich off of it

Most Hispanics in NM, especially the northern part, trace their family roots back to before either the US or Mexico were countries. They consider themselves of Spanish descent and take offense if you call them Mexican-Americans.

That judge should be arrested and tried (and CONVICTED) as an accomplice. He should get the same punishment as someone who actually rapes a 5 year old.
