AC Blower Won't Kick On

I think they are called one hour AC or something.
I had them basically replace the guts of a whole unit. Price was reasonable and they come out twice a year to check your AC and heat in perpetuity

I'd check this thing first. AC Blower run capacitor. About $5 and easy to swap out.

Check the drain pain below your AC in the attic. Sometime the drain pipe will clog tripping a float switch that wont allow the AC to come on.
I also accidentally clipped the control wire to the unit outside with my trimmer once.

I've changed that the capacitor out as well. Agreed it is a simple fix to do yourself

My condenser fan outside recently stopped working. Turns out it was the capacitor. Changed it for like $20 and it works fine again. Might want to check that first.

This for sure! If the drain is clogged, pour some Clorox down it. Algae is the reason most stop up.

check breaker then check capacitor. if capacitor looks bulged out then it has blown you can get one on the cheap and its easy to install

Capacitor helps the compressor(condensor?) kick in......he's saying it's not blowing at all, right?

in the summer months, 1 a month ill pour a mixture 1cup clorox/1cup water in the pipe for this exact reason.

It sounds like his interior blower motor isn't running, not his compressor. There is a capacitor on the compressor as well, but the one I showed is for his blower motor (usually in the attic hooked to the fan system)

The blower wont kick on at all. A few weeks back it did the same thing and after a day it randomly kicked after I switched the off to cool a few times. A week after that I had an inspector out for a buyer who is purchasing the home and he said it worked fine. Well he cut it off and never switched it back on. I tried to turn it back on and again the blow would not come on. After a day I messed with it again and it kicked on and worked fine again. Now I can't get it to kick on again. I swapped the batteries out and checked connections. Maybe the thermostat is bad?

Take the air filter off and look for ice. It may be freezing up and requires time to thaw before kicking on again

If you mess with capacitor make sure and discharge it even if your breaker is thrown. It holds a charge and will knock the piss out of you!

Yeah definitely sounds like the capacitor. See if you can locate it in the attic, and take it out (make sure you disconnect power first). There should be a label on it and it will probably say something like 7 mF +-5%. Get your hands on a multimeter that can measure capacitance and test across the leads. If the reading is out of the labeled range, it's bad.
