Hard to believe this will be successful. It's location is somewhat out of the way and Sulphur already has SPAR which is very nice for a local attraction.

Has that place ever been open and who in their right mind would go there?

Don’t believe it ever opened but has been fighting permit issues for years. Seems it’s been in the works for close to 15 years now.

I'd like to work in the topless dunk tank section.

Thanks for your consideration.

Pretty sure that would make it *not* abandoned.

I know the owner indirectly. He built it over the years with cash and isnt over extended on some loan.
The state fricked with him at every turn and slowed his permitting. He srilled his own water supply instead of having to oay a TON to put a pipe under I10 to a supply line on the other side.crazy stuff like that.

I’ve been going there for years. It’s a great place to take the kids.

No. It’s never been open. And whoever it is that’s first down these dry rotted slides that’s been sitting in the south Louisiana heat and humidity for almost 20 years needs a medal. Because it won’t be me. I’ll NEVER bring my kids there.
