People are such bitches about seat reclining. The seat reclines a few inches at most, and it doesn’t infringe on leg room at all. If a reclined seat is “in your face” like some on twitter allege, your face is in the wrong place.

How does reclining make it easier for fat people though?
I've never had an issue with someone reclining in front of me.

I recline after we're airborne a little at a time. Not all at once. But I DO recline. If that woman is telling the truth about her back, I understand. I have four herniated disc's in my lower back and have been putting off surgery. When I have to sit for an hour or more in those seats, with no lumbar support, it hurts like a son-of--bitch and puts a lot of tension in other muscles to support my back, causing considerable muscle tightening and soreness. If I can recline a little, it helps.
That said, that pussy should be shamed on social media. He would not have done that to a man. He knows it. American Airlines needs to own this. They should have trained their people to deal with this since they're the ones that reduced the space between rows to add extra seats on planes and knew to expect that an occasional a-hole is going to react negatively like this a-hole did.
I hope she hires an attorney and sues if AA doesn't step up and publicly repudiate the man's actions and ban him from future travel on AA.
