Sometimes I feel dumb about waiting in line for a left side pump while people drive up to empty right side pumps, but I don't like having to pull the nozzle and drag the hose across my vehicle. I'd rather just wait; lazy people problems.

Maybe I'm not reading the issue here correctly.

If the lines are backed up and a pump is wide open for someone with a passenger side fuel tank I pull around front and come in backwards. frick the sheep waiting 3 deep while 2 pumps are open.

I have done that and had someone with a passenger side tank pull up nose to nose with me and stare me down. I just back out when I'm done.

Driver side gas tank vs. passenger side has to be 12 to 1 ratio, but the pumps are a 1 to 1 ratio.

How do you jump the line? The two Costcos by us have one way in and then you fan out into the different pump rows from there.

their line was moving too slow and the one beside it had less cars so they backed up then tried to get in the other line at a 45 degree angle

i think they're coming in the exit where costco funnels all the cars that are done...and the hoses at costco are designed to reach your tank regardless of what side its on so left/right side of pumps don't matter.

My issue at Costco is not people coming in from the wrong direction (which I don't think is possible) but people who have their gas caps on the left side of the car going into lanes designed for people with gas caps on the right side of the car.

Costco's pumps are specifically built to accommodate this...a large majority of gas caps are on the left side in America.

The pumps are bisexual; it's made to be able to pull over to the other side of the vehicle.

You think the 90% of people with left side fuel doors should have the same amount of useable pumps as the few and far between with right side fuel doors?

The problem is that there is a lane there so that cars can pull out and leave if the car in front of them hasn't finished. The guy filling his left sided gas tank blocks the lane.

Why would anyone buy Sam's gas over Costco? Unless there is only one choice in your city the top tier rated gasoline from Costco is way better due to the higher level of detergents, it's not just marketing hype.
