I play guitar

I have a 1941 Martin 0-15

A chunk of the exterior wall of the Pentagon that I got when I was deployed there on a Rescue Team after 9/11.

I have a scale that is labeled East India Company and was used for testing gold sovereigns to make sure they were real.

Yes. He was a 2nd SGT. In the 39th Ga(Gilmer Tigers) Regiment. His letters state that he was forced into service by the Home Guard in 1862. After the surrender at Vicksburg, he was paroled in a prisoner exchange and sent home. The regiment reformed and pressed into action at Chicamauga and Chattanooga. After retreating down through Tunnel Hill they made winter camp around Dalton. Around this time, one of Grants subordinates( realizing the low moral of the soldiers from North Ga was waning) came up with the idea to have an Underground Railroad to help confederates desert to Chattanooga and pledge an oath of allegiance to the US.. In exchange, they were given two options. Go North of the Ohio River and work in labor camps or join newly formed Union regiments until the war ended. If they joined the new regiment, they were assured that they would see no combat as Sherman made his way South to Atlanta from Chattanooga. They were tasked with doing supply line labor, etc.. My GF was one of many who selected this option in order to remain close to his family in Gilmer County. As a result, he was made a 1st SGT in the 5th Tennessee Mounted Infantry. After Sherman took Savannah, his regiment was sent to NC and remained there until the wars end. His widow (my GGGM) received a Union pension in 1881.

This shave kit was passed down to me from my GF and will go to my son at some point.

Too many, but hey at least I'm home when they blow it instead of having to drive 4 hours in anger. Fat boy blows it away, I can just change the channel.

I have a football signed by LSU's 2003 national championship team, and a football signed by the 2007 national championship team.

I also have infield dirt from the old Alex Box Stadium, and a chunk of marble from Pompeii, stained by volcanic ash.
