I mean do we really know the whole story? Before we start calling people losers. I don't judge without knowing the whole situation. I have seen people lose life saving due to tragedies or unforeseen medical events.

His history on this board is well documented.

celebrating your own sobriety while calling your own daughter ungrateful for paying HIS rent is the definition of a loser.

You have a valid point but you're just being an a-hole. Peej has acknowledged his shortcomings in this very thread and he has expressed gratitude for the help he has received. There's nothing wrong with being brutally honest but you can do that without bashing the man. Maybe you could try being a little more constructive in your criticisms.

Does not compute.

It's not hard to understand, if you want to. Bashing someone - especially when they're down - doesn't lead to anything but suffering, for the person bashed and, just as important, for the one doing the bashing.

It's the difference between constructive and destructive. There's a way to practice tough love without injury.

The guy is a manipulator and a loser. He knows exactly what he is doing.

Makes a post about him about to be evicted.
Purpose? To get someone to pay his rent.
Result? Success!

That’s not the type of person that shouldn’t be bashed and made fun of. No one loves the guy.

People like him need to be called out so other people don’t fall victim to his web of lies and deception.

The guy has personally bashed me about wealth, essentially saying he has everything he needs and money isn't important.

The irony.

I think it's fine to just admit that this is the reason for the sympathy and assistance. Let's not act like the same altruistic acts would be shown for any poster on this board. He's built a long history on this board in order to garner sympathy because he needs attention. I don't think that's being harsh, it's being honest.

Your premise is wrong. I have financially helped 2 other posters on this board. And I'm not the only one.

A few years ago a long-time poster on here had a life-threatening medical emergency and one of the admins set up a GoFundMe account to help that poster with medical expenses.

Literally dozens , maybe hundreds because I never looked at the final tally of givers, of us donated thousands of dollars into the GoFundMe account to help our friend who we've never met.

Stop projecting your own selfishness onto other posters., Ebenezer.

So when Peej joined as a member on TigerDroppings 19 years ago he plotted to use the board as a honey pot? Yeah........NO!

And I don't think it's being honest, it's being borderline psychotic.

No, he’s just talking an opportunity that he’s seen come in front of him.

Look man, you can give him the money if you want to and you seem to be familiar with him enough to feel comfortable.

But there’s also nothing wrong with letting others who may be less familiar know his history (the part that he’s conveniently leaving out of all his replies). It wasn’t that long ago that some dude scammed this site out of a good deal of money under not so dissimilar circumstances

At worst, Russian is out a few hundred bucks and did a good thing. He probably gave knowing that he would never see that money again. Good on him.

That being said, there's no way in hell I would've done that knowing the backstory of the person asking.
