The only reason that Christians wouldn't have the same reaction to a chick in nun clothes or using a crucifix is a dildo is because we are so desensitized to it. If digital pornography existed before we became secular, you'd see the same kind of reaction, IMO.

The largest demographic in Lebanon is Maronite Christians. There are more Muslims, but they are split between Sunnis, Shiites and Sufis.

Actually they don't all that much. They sell their oil to Europe mostly. We get most of ours from Mexico, Canada, and of course right here.
They are "cool" because the US has bases plastered everywhere in the region, including Saudi.
How far we've come since Jimmy Carter sent four F-15's to fly there and made it a point to have them unarmed to avoid offending anyone.

That's pretty messed up. I was watching a documentary awhile back.. I actually forgot what it was about, but it was somewhere in the middle east and at one point it focused on this specific lady and she was driving while being interviewed and while she was driving.... Every car that would pass her would slow down to her speed for a few seconds and just stare.. You could see people on the streets (not driving) staring as well. For some reason I want to say it was in Iran, but its almost unreal to see how they were responding to seeing a woman drive.
