It was definitely better then compared to now, frick China and frick the American bureaucrats that knew where taxpayer money was going that led to this bullshite. He certainly had his flaws but was objectively better for all Americans than the s***show in office we have now.
But give me DeSantis in ‘24. Much higher chance of winning than Trump and would be a much more effective President. Trump would also be pushing 80 by then. It’s a no brainer to ride with DeSantis.

People forget that they couldn’t get catering for Clemsons visit because dems shut the government down. Trump didn’t want to cancel on the kids so he ordered a frick load of what college kids love most- fast food.

The same players at that time that were living off a couple thousand dollars a month with everything included, if they were that lucky, compared to today’s world. Now, it’s a completely different world. 10 years ago, you give 20 year old college kids a buffet of free McDonald’s and the world is great, now someone’s offended because of the color of the straw paper.
