Is the creepy guy that walks around Sherwood and Broadmoor in a mailmans outfit still around?

Took a major hit. Major . Most of the people on the street sold out. Investors bought them but not worried about the trash moving in. Most of them are going for over $200K. That's why I told my folks not to sell. They were all selling for $75 to $125K. Problem is, now you have to find place to live and go spend that money you just got. My folks got a bed room up to speed in a hurry and then toughed it out. I was able to save all the kitchen appliances but the icebox and freezer so some prefab cabinets at Lowes for now and then installed countertops. Bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen is all you need to start. Most of the work finished now.

Sounds like a great time to live in that neighborhood.

It was a great area to grow up in the '70's. I lived on Effringham, one block off of Goodwood Blvd, and Sherwood Jr/Audubon Elementary/Broadmoor Jr.

I grew up 3 streets over from effringham in the 90's. Was a good place back then too. Used to ride a bike from flannery to airline and all places between.

I'll never forget driving my bass boat to my parents place from the end of the street the night of the flood. Luckily the water stopped about a foot short of the house.

His wife Barbara was one of the nicest ladies I’ve ever known. His second daughter graduated with me at Broadmoor and was the type of girl that everyone loved to be around. She just always had a great heart and attitude and made every thing better when she was there. His youngest, Johnny was also a friend of mine. It broke my heart when he lost his life at such a young age. I have no idea how hard that must have been on his parents and sisters.

We probably know each other. I grew up on Brookshire and remember them well.

I really want you to see this. Check out the date. Same day he died.
I know you think I was being disrespectful or trying to be funny.
It stood out because it was after 10:00.
What the heck ?
I'm next, right? It's like a certainty, isn't it?
Damn. Goodbye OT.

It broke them. Were never the same but it got better when grandkids came along.

Every guy worshipped those girls.

The Aguilar married well. His brother had a pretty hot and classy wife too.

Totally. I get a call from a guy I don’t know the same day he dies. When the call came in we all were like “ do you know this name” thinking it was one of my kid’s friends numbers, so everybody remembers it. I even googled his name at the time. And then this thread . My guess is someone at his house was calling friends to let them know and accidentally dialed the wrong number.

Anyhow, the man sounds like a Prince. RIP.

All I’m saying is if you get a call from me , you’re next.

Candace Cheek was fine as wine. I wonder what ever happened to her.

I knew Kim, in passing. She always had a smile. She married a guy who went to Broadmoor but he was a little older.
