My people worked with sugarcane around there, Houma, Chackbay, etc. All through that time, up till about the 1960s.

Great grandfather has tons of old pictures from the 40s and 50s around cane.

Didn't even bother putting out the cigarette.

I remember the warnings on Vitalis hair tonic saying "don't smoke until hair is fully dry," but I'm sure plenty of cigs were hanging out their mouth while applying that stuff.

Did the New Iberia haircut meme originate or at least become popular on Tiger droppings?

Nope. The NIH is a real thing outside of this cesspool.

Obviously it’s a real thing but you can find jokes about it on Twitter.
I’m asking if people were making jokes about it near and far before it was a running joke on here

That could have been any of our grandparents, or great grandparents. I am surprised barber shops could stay open during the Depression.

Does the guy cutting the hair have a man bun?

I bet that baw’s knuckle have many scars.

They hadn’t gotten the drive up diner yet like sonic, but i bet the local haberdashery is where that baw proved his worth
