The former LSUS student accused of making threats against LSU and LSU-Shreveport officials in a series of YouTube videos is expected to be extradited to Louisiana.

Louisiana Troop G spokesperson Glenn Younger said he wasn't sure when Amanda Sutherland, 36, of Bossier City, would return to the state.

She still faces charges from a 2016 altercation with a school bus driver and Bossier Parish deputy sheriff.

Calls to the King County Correctional Facility in Seattle where Sutherland is held and the King County Courthouse regarding extradition plans and legal proceedings were not returned before publication.

Sutherland was arrested Sunday in Seattle on a bus bound for Spokane, Washington, days after making posts that threatened LSU President F. King Alexander and two science faculty members at LSUS.

Sutherland appeared Monday in court in King County, Washington, according to a report by KIRO television station in Seattle.

She tried several times to speak to King County District Court Judge Susan Mahoney during her appearance. When the judge finally allowed Sutherland to speak, she accused the court of abducting her.

"There's no evidence, no grounds for any crimes I've ever committed, ever," she said in court.

Sutherland's bail was originally set at $200,000 but was raised to $500,000 after the proceedings. As of Tuesday afternoon, Sutherland was listed as an inmate at King County Correctional Facility in Seattle. Sutherland is scheduled to appear again in court Thursday, KIRO reported.
