Once had the choice to try to remove Jeff monson or a 6ft 8 retarded guy from a bar. I chose monson. He didn't kill me. He randomly comes into the gym the next day where I'm watching a buddy prep for a fight and spar. Calmy walks over and apologizes for the previous night. And then asks...why the hell I grabbed him instead of the other guy

I’m about the same height as monson, I was not fricking with 6’4” 245 lb former champ.

I think he was mostly just pissed because he had a male waiter (not my fault) instead of a cute waitress

Will Clark refused to give autographs to any kids at the Astrodome circa 1989. Terry Puhl stepped up and signed all autographs.

You about 6ft 2 and a shrek lookalike?

If so, you were a dick to us too and then we ran into you at mellow mushroom buying drinks for everyone around you and acting like a big shot.

I have never understood the celebrity worship that is given to these people. It is one thing to respect ones accomplishments but to put them on a pedestal with overdone praise is just plain foolish and just feeds their sense of entitlement.

i haven't encountered too many in my life, and i know this guy isn't a big celebrity. But Hacksaw Jim Duggan was a dick. I went to get an autograph and he yelled before i could get to him, WE'RE TALKING!

Talk about bad luck. Not sure if most can appreciate how poor a choice that was!

Matt Bryant NFL kicker got mouthy with me and my buddy while we were surf fishing a few years ago. I told him to shut his pipsqueak mouth and that I lived here in which he replied he was building a house. We thought he was a random drunk dude until the people with him told us who he was and apologized.

Also I've known Roy Jones Jr. For over 30 years. He's a great guy.

Bubba is at address and the kid drops his bag of chips. The wind catches it and just as Bubba starts his backswing the kid ducks under the rope and goes out to grab the bag.

A pro golfer is about to swing and a kid ducks under the ropes and enters the tee box area?

It was shitty of him to address a patron in that manner but let's be honest with ourselves here that little kid is massively to blame as well

A non-a-hole would show frustration in a much more mature way. Bubba is an emotional child, always has been.

Ran into Emmitt Smith

Sat next to him at SEC soccer tourney in like ‘17. Talked with him and his cousin about soccer for 30 min.
My high school team was there, and I let them bother him at half time, but made them go back to their seats once halftime was over.
Didn’t mention anything to him about football, cowboys, fame, etc. just talked with him like he was a normal dude.

which is why I literally said, "it was shitty of him to address a patron in that manner".

Ducking under the rope on the tee box, especially during a swing, is a pretty egregious breach of conduct too though.

Met Cliff Harris one time. Just as nice as he could be.
He was my SiLs neighbor.

Very pretty gal from my high school was waitressing in Hawaii when Arnold and others shooting a movie came into eat.

He flipped a loaded food tray onto her to get a laugh from the rest of the crew.

I'll say this for him, as much of a dick as he was being leading up to the moment his feet left the floor, he was quite mature on the way out.

I knew who he was and all I was thinking was, getting knocked out isn't that bad, just please don't let this guy paralyze/kill me.

The following day he actually made a joke about it and said he was doing everything he could not to laugh at the absurdity of it. Most emasculating thing anayone has ever said to me.

No one disagrees with that, just don't get the point of saying it. Comes off like you're backpeddling your negative comments against Bubba and slightly defending him. Which, as a UGA fan, I guess makes sense?

I've had 2 interactions with Will Clark. One was cool, the other was not (probably because my friend was being a dick, but anyway).
The cool one was right after my Dad died. I ran into Will in a store. My Dad had always thought that Will had the sweetest swing in baseball and really liked the way he played the game. I told Will that, and we shot the shite for a few minutes. Very cool.
The other happened when my friend and I ran into a girl we knew at a bar in NOLA. She was there with Will. She introduced him to both of us, and my dickhead friend says "So Will, what do you do for a living?" Let's just say Will didn't get the sarcasm...
