Given the economy with rising cost of living, rising cost of goods, etc. why wouldn’t someone want a partner that is financially secure these days? Likely means combined your lifestyle will be much more comfortable. And finances are pretty high on the list of issues that can cause divorce down the road.

You are looking for the wrong ethnicity, Asian don’t raisin. My wife is still smoking at 45 while nearly every white girl I once dated or graduated with gained about 40 lbs and looks like they smoked two packs of filterless Camels a day

Years ago, a hard workin man was in demand. Since the 80's not good to be male in the dating pool if you were below the 90% threshold.
Older ladies married husbands who left them loaded
Older ladies to older men ratio greatly favors men
If you are into the Social Security set you can have all kinds of faults and the availability of "sugar mommas" is astounding.
It helps if you can dance
It helps if you can cook
It helps if the plumbing still working at high efficiency
After that it is all gravy. Have a friend in the mid 80's who is doing better than most college age men. Since not meany men left, women are more agreeable to sharing.
