She flew from MSY today to ATL today and is flying back tomorrow. Problem is her purse with all identification and cards was lost or stolen in ATL. She can use her phone for money, but has no form of identification. Making matters worse is she lives in NO now, but license is from Tennessee. Anyone had something like this happen and can give any input on showing up for a flight with nothing with your name on it. Apparently there is a process with filling out an identification form or something.

Not sure if acceptable at airports but does she have something like the LA Wallet app? Might at least speed up the confirmation of who she is.

People fly without ID all the time (usually lost or stolen ID situations like this). Just make sure she gets to the airport very early.

That sounds like a real hassle dealing with all that. She should just steal a car and drive back, it would be easier.

A few years ago MSY would not let my wife use the LA Wallet for identification. We had to shuffle some weight in the two bags and her wallet accidentally went with one of them. Blew my mind that they claimed it was not a valid ID to fly. She had to go to some office to print out a credit card statement with her name on it which they considered enough. It made zero sense

If she's hot, I'll give her a ride back.

Grass or arse.

I lost my license in 2019 somewhere, presumably, in DFW airport while waiting for the connection flight to Las Vegas. I didn't know my license was missing until I was off the plane in Las Vegas. I was pulled aside for a little extra searching when in the Las Vegas airport...had no problems.

She’s hot by Texas standards I’m sure…

Doesn’t take much…

Sure thing, if you consider searching my carry on fun. That's all that was done.

Worse case scenario is I will just go out there to pick her up tonight, but trying to avoid that if her flight should be fine.

When you’re friend zoned by a stripper, come to the ot for the correct answers. The knowledge here is better than AI.

Y'all inspired me to try again with my MS mobile ID. I made numerous attempts and it wouldn't accept the picture of the back of my license. This time it took and I'm back in the system.

She should call the TSA and ask. Each airport is a little different but you can get on a flight without an ID.

I may or may not have such experience due to a dui.

Would showing up at 1pm be enough time to catch a 5pm flight with no checked bags?
