A woman from the LA department of Education call me at tech support and phonetically spelled her street name, and said, “K as in cat.” That was 25 years ago.

Some friends of mine in Raceland were alerted by their alarm company that to high levels of carbon dioxide. Alarm company called the fire dept and police. They were fine, weren't sick or anything and the levels were only slightly elevated. They have a whole house generator that was installed up to code.

CO2 aside, running those things in the garage would make so much damn noise that you'd think your head was in a can with a crowd beating on it.

It shocks me that this still happens in Louisiana
Sadly this doesn't shock me. There are a lot of ignorant people out there or people who think "it won't happen to me".

Is this really a door that opens into the house?

I just assumed that generator placement was the first thing one learned growing up in Houma. Must be transplants.

Thankfully my HOA banned extension chords.

It shocks me that this still happens in Louisiana after as many hurricanes as we have had.

Was it a dude with hairy knuckles and a dog named after a children’s book?

What’s just as odd is they released HIPAA info about the patients
