The same way I've given up on her saying that she likes her steak medium and then freaks out when it's bright pink. I just burn hers now and let her think it's good at this point

This is the type of response I was hoping to get. OP was a light hearted exaggeration of a real situation I had with my wife, I posted it for the lolz. I wasn’t coming here to get Dr Phil’d. Jesus Christ. It’s like these guys don’t even know me! How on earth does my posting style cause anyone to believe I’m an uptight controlling husband who gets worked up over spats with wife about pasta?

My FIL will sometimes tell his wife of 62 years how to warm or cook something she has done for 62+ years. Hahahaaaa, I must laugh when I see this kind of stuff.
