I didn't hate it just thought it was pretty vanilla like most Maroon 5 songs. Big Boi was pretty good despite the lack of Andre 3000.
Travis Scott however was total shite and what the frick was that 10 seconds of spongebob shite? Either give us Sweet Victory or not. Don't blue ball us

That wasnt my point. I have artists whom I like. For Hip Hop, I have 7 rappers whom I appreciate and feel like they know how to make some good music. But outside of that, i can't listen at all because most of it is just bad. Mainstream is horrendoes for the most part.
As for the R&B side of things, the genre is dang near dead. I think there are like 2 good current artists right now. Even then I vastly prefer the 80s and 90s era. That's thats the way it is. The genre i grew up loving is almost out of existence.

The group of HS seniors at my daughters Super Bowl party thought it was really bad. 
I found it meh. But I wasn’t really interested in the halftime show and know I’m not the demographic.
