WOW!! we must be close to the same age you listed almost everything I thought of.

In High school - McDonalds in Mandeville was the meeting spot every weekend before we went to a party, 5th Beach or the Harbor

I am 43. Class of CHS 1990. Could drink at 18 so those were the spots in my late teens early 20's as well as the Red Barn pub and a few more. Burger King on 190 by Racetrac used to be the cruise in spot.

My good buddy's dad owned that bar in the shopping center where Sillyville and Dr. Dan's office was. Maybe it was called Parkview Taverns, but I can't remember. We used to go there all of the time until the Beau Chene people bitched enough about the noise to get it shut down

Funny, I remember after sillyville they had this night club style place designed for middle schoolers. I think it was called "the zone"

I haven't ever asked why Sillyville closed. Never felt like bringing up the topic. Seemed like it was always packed

I remember riding my go cart on the golf course where home depot and Wal-Mart are located.

Pretty Acres was owned by Louis Prima, and later his widow. Fun little place to play golf. Hated to see the retail garbage move in that area.

Speaking of snowball stands, the one by Sonic on tyler street in Covington is actually still there, well the building is but I think it's been closed for like 10 years or something. Something spice, can't remember the name.

I used to abuse the Fun Arcade's skill crane. They would give me a garbage bag to fill up with all the stuffed animals.

Your not the sharpest tool in the shed are you? I know several people that were paralyzed doing this. The bridge actually just fell into the river within the last month.

Everyone I knew who worked there did that. You'd just tell them what you wanted, and they'd sneak it out back
