At 9, i was playing hide and seek, building forts in the Woods by the House, riding my bike, playing sports, etc.
I legit had no clue what suicide was until i was in my teens.
And i dang sure has no clue about sexuality till i was somewhere between 11-12

exactly If in 2018 you don't think there are innate, genetic aspects to homosexuality then I don't know what to tell you.

Do what?
Gay tendencies equates to being gay. Does not matter if you act on them or not. Just because someone does have sex doesn’t mean he or she has a certain sexuality.

The same applies to heterosexuals. You can think you're heterosexual but until you get laid you have no idea.
In tgrbaitn08's case, he wasn't really straight until 22 years old.

I knew I liked girls but I didn't have a deep enough understanding of sexuality to publicly "come out" as anything. It's certainly possible but I think that's what people mean when they say didn't know at that age.
In any case, a nine year old committing suicide is about as tragic as it gets, no matter the details.
