The problem is that there are very good and honorable reasons to cut out certain possibilities when looking at this. And that will sort of pave the way for non-medical choices to trojan horse their way in.
Honestly, i'm really glad to be alive right now. I don't want to live for 150+ years, have to decide if I want my mind uploaded, have so many choices about my own child, etc.

But I tend to agree with you more. Deep fake tech is fricking terrifying and could threaten the entire social fabric by utterly destroying the idea of a unifying objective reality.

Or you know, could lead to an issue with birth rates unless these sex robots were directly from Blade Runner 2049. That’s more the point of the danger. We can already see this happening in Japan.

I’m more worried about social media being able to manipulate people’s mindset and beliefs through a like and dislike reward system by bots (tik tok Chinese). People are obsessed with likes and going viral. They can put 10,000 likes on what they approve of and 3 on thoughts they want to eliminate

First we need to figure out what the risks are and all of that - where we can help and where we can't. I'm not going to have to worry about this so I'm just concerned that everyone is starting to be concerned with AI, etc. and the genetics revolution has been happening and gets far less discussion or public acknowledgement.
