The ones here (3 so far I believe) in Kentucky were at a warehouse where “non-essential” orders were filled. They’re closing for two days and reopening.

Woke up this morning with a sore throat, but not panicking because I’ve been staying in for several days now and felt like my risk of exposure was really low. Then I read this thread and remembered that I’ve had two Amazon deliveries in the last 3-5 days.

I had a little sore throat and fatigue all last week. Lasted about 6 days and went away.

I think the risk of the infection spreading this way is still extremely low. Even though it can survive on surfaces, it doesn’t mean it can infect you. Wipe it down and hope for the best. Wash your hands after handling

Exactly. They may disinfect but then they just bring everybody back in who was in contact with the ones who were positive. Amazon treats their warehouse workers like shite though so it’s pretty par for the course.

The virus can live up to 3 days on plastic, but like you said, I don't know if it can still infect you as easily.
I started being leery of Amazon packages a few years back when they started showing up looking like that had made the treck by mule and wagon. They are always beat to shite and covered in a thick layer of grime.
Just carefully unpack everything, open what can be opened, wipe down or set aside what can't, and wash your hands immediately.
