re: 9/11 - 15 Years Later

Sophomore in college. Roommate ran into my room yelling "we're getting bombed!" My Latin professor refused to postpone a test that day.

The hardest thing for me to understand about 9-11 is how these foreign, lightly trained "pilots" successfully navigated commercial airliners hundreds of miles under intense pressure and struck 3 of 4 targets with what has to be considered almost pinpoint accuracy. I've read a good bit on the subject and there's no evidence they would have known how to program the flight system and even experienced pilots admit it would be difficult to do what they did using visual flight rules. Sure they could have used landmarks to navigate like following the Hudson River (which they didn't) or they could have used handheld GPS devices but even then as big as their targets were those planes don't turn on a dime and not a one of them once reaching their target missed or even had to do a fly around. The planes that hit the twin towers came from opposite directions to reach the same general vicinity and take out each tower individually. It's not like one of them clipped a building with a wing or got the altitude wrong or something. They hit their targets dead on and at crazy fast speeds with enough fuel to travel cross country. And the pentagon strike may be the most unbelievable. Pilots land mainly with automated assistance yet that plane was able to basically land into the side of a 5 story building that was no runway and certainly with no guidance. I guess you could say they had some good fortune that the weather was so clear but I'd just like to know more about how they were able to pull that off. And I'm not a conspiracy theorist guy. I just think more is known but unrevealed or should be investigated about this.

Every tragedy has truthers, unfortunately. Apparently it's not possible for tragedies to occur.

The guy hijack piloting United 175 flew like a lightly trained pilot. He flew a 767 like a fighter jet plunging in altitude right at the very end and slammed into the corner of the south tower at a sharp angle at 590 fricking mph.

Mohamed Atta was the leader of the 19 and was definitely a pretty smart guy. He flew in from the north much more controlled and it would have been an easy attack visually.
