The large ceramic tile floors and honey stained oak cabinets are a nice high end touch

Lots of space on the inside, but looks outdated and super cheap and tacky on the inside.

If you can afford an 800k house, why on earth does it look so shitty on the inside?

Holy Cross hood would get some tourist traffic.

Looks nice from outside, but terrible inside. What is Holy Cross like these days? Are tourists really staying in that part of town? No way in hell I would stay there.

Looks like there was a massive addition to the back. Would require $200k to update and modernize it. Then you own the only million dollar house in the Lower 9th, congrats

It's like there is a fridge in the right edge of the picture as well.

I'm down that way a couple times a month to fish the river at the Industrial Canal for cats and it is still a very depressed area with tons of blighted houses, no real infrastructure in the form of grocery, drug, hardware stores.

Everything you'd need in the above form would require you to head either down into St. Bernard or over the bridge farther into the city.

You have houses on the market for $200K and up with single shotgun houses sitting on postage stamp size lots rotting down to the ground next door.

I grew up in the Lower 9th 3 blocks from that house, but that was decades ago and even then it was a lower middle class, mixed neighborhood that changed dramatically when "White Flight" happened and folks from the area moved to Metairie and St. Bernard.

After that, it kind of went to hell in a hand basket as more and more homes became rental properties instead of being privately owned.

WTF...It looks like there are kitchen cabinets, counter tops and sink in a random part of the house..Scroll down and take a look at the taxes..That's why they are getting rid of it..
