That 8 month old probably smoked and had type 2 diabetes.

And it probably won’t affect them much. But that isn’t the issue. Them spreading it to many other people is the issue.

It's not that kids don't get it in absolute terms, they have seemed to be a lot less likely to even catch it, possibly for the same reasons their mortality rate is lower.

Also 19 year old healthy teen in Florida came down with it.

In a couple of weeks there will be an increase for this age group after spring break. Just like what happened in Nola after Mardi Gras

Are you trying to cheer us up with this post or to freak us out even more? I see NO point in what you’re trying to do.

kid catches it someway, somehow but doesn't die

but likely gives it to the parent, who apparently needs to be in 100% tip top OT shape or else they'll encounter issues

so then kid and parent likely get it, parent might recover, might not depending on pre-existing conditions

then who takes care of said kid, whom we don't want to spread said virus?

What?
I don’t think anyone on this board is Claiming that young people can’t get this. What many people HAVE said, including myself, is that it doesn’t hit the young as hard and is much less likely to result in hospitalization and/or death.
With milder symptoms in the younger demographics they don’t get tested as much resulting in lower contraction rates.

I’m willing to bed this virus has already made its way through schools and daycares in December-February, we just wasn’t testing then.

There were countless accounts of parents going to the dr. with kids having flu like symptoms and trouble getting over a cough and get tested negative for flu.

A 2 year old in Ohio tested positive.
LINK

The point of me posting this is so that hopefully this will be a thread where people post links to all the kids testing positive instead of people starting a thread for each time it happens.
