First you said if you walk 30 miles or more and do light weight lifting 3 times a week you’d be healthy

Then you said:

Guys that could do those are guys that do things like cross fit, rock climbing, etc.

So that’s not at all what you said

It’s literally there for reading dumbass

Skew all you want. To clarify, I said you would be healthy enough and fit enough to not get hurt if you simply walked 30 miles a day and lifted light weights 3 times a week to live a healthy life.

The guys that I know that could complete the OP, either are hardcore cross fitters or do rock climbing. The guys that simply lift and do mild cardo, or hardcore cardio, or just lift could not.

Does that clarify?

The average weight being 200 for that age is scary. But yeah I agree you have to weigh in the 130-140 ballpark to make that 2 minute hold realistic. If it was 1 minute it would be a different story.

It clarifies that you have no clue what you are talking about.

But we already knew that

Eh, about 180. Holding 90s is pretty realistic

Most 180 pound people are not holding 90s for 2 minutes unless they are training that specific exercise for months. You’d need some crazy forearms cause that’s what’s going to give out first.

I can do those all easily

I do agree Farmer’s carries would be the most challenging.

I only know that I can do 2. Squat my body weight and pushups, easy. I am 90% sure I can do a 10 minute mile. I usually range from 12 to 14 minutes, but I keep my pace pretty slow and walk a bit as well. I feel like if I were challenged to do a 10 minute mile, I could. Sit and reach I haven't done since 5th grade, and pulls ups have always given me trouble. I have absolutely no clue on the other two. I've never even attempted them.

Is this for real? That seems pretty easy.

I bought a pull-up bar specifically to do dead hangs to help with my back. I do 10-20 seconds a few times a week.

Just went downstairs and tried for as long as I could. 50 seconds. Zero chance I’d get to 2 minutes.

Aside from that and the 2 minute body weight farmers carry (WTH man), I think it’s a reasonably achievable list for someone who’s in shape and actually wants to get there.

100%. This might be a test that every 40 year old dude should be able to pass but should is the key word. I bet 99% of the dudes out there couldn't carry their body weight for 2 minutes unless they specifically trained this for months. I started doing farmers probably about 6 years ago watching a dude with Popeye forearms carrying around 100's at my old gym. It was impressive. Way better functional exercise than just running except for maybe sprints.

I can do most of that, the dead hangs and pull ups would be tricky because my shoulder is jacked up.

Everyone here shoulders are not “messed up.” You’re just really weak, that’s a fact

Over 50 and feel confident I could knock this out. Weird to include two grip strength exercises though. The list should replace one of those with planking for 2 minutes. The others are all easy.
