I listen to The Editors podcast and Charles Cook has an absolutely brilliant take on this exact line when said by progressives in discussing this trans school mass murderer:
“Finish the statement! Tennessee and Florida have bills that combat against gender reassignment surgery for children so…
Finish what you mean to say? That this shooting is understandable? That it’s justified? That we should expect more of these to happen and it’s the Republican legislature’s fault? Finish the damn statement!”
I don’t care what bills are passed, murdering innocent school children is never excusable, understandable, or justified. This woman was a monster, not because she was trans, but because she thought it justified to murder children.

I disagree. Much like the transgender mindset, the “Dims” honestly believe they are doing the right thing. One could argue that it’s the lack of real action by the conservatives, who think the left has lost their minds but fail to actually do anything about it, that could be the real issue here. As a group, conservatives are afraid of the liberals and I say this as a white, conservative man myself. I can sit safely behind a keyboard, but I haven’t actually done anything to try and reverse the direction this country is headed. It’s our fault as much as it is theirs, maybe even more so as we know they’re f’in looney.

Recently found out that one of the adult victims in this shooting was the wife of a guy from my hometown. I played golf with him in our club's member guest 3 years ago.

Wow. I'm assuming their logic is something like, "well if we would have simply banned guns already, then she would have never shot up the school".
But i also guarantee, if that was just another straight white male doing the shooting, they would not be counting him aa a victim.
