No, you said "give your account of what happened." Your wording here proves my point.

And if the gun has a very light trigger, and the person who had never fired a gun before shoots himself in the leg grabbing the pistol? How's his trigger control? Does he even know what trigger control is? Or does he immediately place his finger on the trigger when grabbing a pistol.
Can you not admit that never using a firearm before is a problem for someone who is licensed to carry concealed?

On the leg shot, never point a gun something you don't want shot.

On the never shot a gun, theoretically, anyone in La. can open carry without having shot one.

Looks like it worked out for him.

I can't believe he just let that kid pick up that gun right in front of him. That's so dangerous.

Agree. I wouldn't have been so generous, possibly.

Yeah, going for the gun you just tried to rob me with could've ended differently with me, possibly.

This is what shocked me most about the video. He lets the kid pick up the gun right in front of him. Could have ended differently if he retaliated.

Everyone wondering how he was able to use the gun and trigger control if he never shot it... A hammerless revolver isn't hard to use.

don't forget this is the OT, everyone here is former Seal team 6, or at least a former Green Beret, or auxiliary deputy sheriff in Mayberry

Right, your account that it was self defense, not just refusing to speak. I didn't say anything about going into any specific details or elaborations. You're reading into that statement what you want to.

Michigan passed Constitutional carry in June. Any one who can legally purchase a gun can carry without a permit or training.

Yeah, but he said he had his license which means he took the course, which means he's shot his gun before, which means he was lying on camera, which means his credibility can be called into question.

This is why you never talk to the press.

Shouldn't that be required for CC?
