Sky screamers were shaken off their knees for a few seconds.

That area has been very active lately but that is the biggest one out of all of the recent activity.

This would be a great time for California to break off and float away.

frick off. That area is a world away from what this board considers to be the liberal disasters that are Los Angeles and San Francisco. There's a lot of good people in the mountains.

I live right around here. I wouldn’t have noticed it if a wall decoration didn’t shake for about 8 seconds. Much ado about nothing.

The best part was a received a notice from the USGS stating: Earthquake! Expect shaking. Drop, Cover, Hold ON. Protect yourself now.

I got that about 10 minutes after the “shaking”.

ETA: TRUERockyTop is spot on. This area is nothing like the Bay or SoCal. They’re just our overlords for some fricking reason.

Serious question. I've never been in an earthquake... what type of effects would a 6.0 magnitude earthquake produce?

I was in Vegas last year at this time and from the same area. It shook the hotel room we were in.
