I'm way more concerned about being a random victim of violence than getting the Rona. Already had that.

I apologize if anyone called you a vile, tasteless person earlier. Didn't know you had the Rona.

You were much more likely to die of Covid than be the random victim of violence

There it is!

I knew that once anyone mentions the 3rd world status of New Orleans, an insecure Destroya apologist would start shitting all over the rest of the state.

One of the kids still can't taste some things normally months later. Mine was only messed up for a few days.

five people killed, including a 12-year-old

No word from Latoya on the multiple children that have been killed in the city over the last year?

A healthy 42-43 yr old male? I like my odds with the Rona. The flu was worse for me.

Most people here couldn’t find those areas if they tried.

I lived in NOLA for a decade and I could drive to at least half of those locales because I shopped locally and had to get through them to local businesses.

I'll admit that many of the businesses are gone now, some I still order from (by phone for delivery by shipment to here).

Heck, I even bought from Industrial Metals of the South and that neighbor hood was scarey then and the business had security that was impressive.

Hell, little ol Tuscaloosa was at 2 murders for the weekend as of last night, one at a city park on a main thoroughfare, another at an apartment complex that used to be decent about 25 years ago.

How many 42-43 not involved in crime (random violence) been killed or seriously injured in New Orleans via crime this year? How many died of Covid?

It’s too easy to take one wrong turn in NOLA or around LSU, and end up in one of these bad areas. I’ve done it plenty of times before and I grew up between both cities. Couldn’t imagine how many tourists do that on a daily basis
