I just counted my posts today and saw 52 posts (this is my 53rd). I feel like I was Bella level today but it was worth it because I helped convince a suicidal poster to seek help and move in with his brother for the time being.
I don’t remember his handle because the thread eventually got deleted but he emailed me back to thank me and let me know he’s getting help.
After a friend of mine killed himself 14 years ago I vowed that if I was ever in position to help someone out of that fog of mental war I would and today I carried through on it. It feels great to know I helped convince him to seek help and I hope he sticks to the help and gets better. Thanks to the other posters in that thread who helped as well!

If he was trolling then he even carried through to a long, drawn out email to me. Even if it was a troll, I’m still glad I helped what I believed to be someone in need.

You have no idea if it was a troll or not and in that situation it's best to offer help than no do anything or be an a-hole towards them.
