Who’s going?
Festival Info

I may drive down for the day visit my parents, eat some strawberries and ride the Ferris Wheel. Grew up going to that festival every year.
My love for it runs deep!!

It’s also Mississippi Black Spring Break along the coast.

I went many years and it was nice. I saw the traffic last year backed up on the bridge and thought “nope.” It’s a shame our local festivals grow so large.

We go because their is a church that does a Queso Dip that's the best I have ever had. Last year I got some over the crawfish pie, and it was amazing.

I mean, it's not the only reason, but it's my favorite booth there.

Good luck. It’s going to be crazy crowded this weekend with this weather

I had to pick bringing the kids somewhere this weekend. Choices were:

1. French Quarter Fest
2. Strawberry Fest
3. Ascension Parish Fair

I think we're doing Strawberry Fest. FQF seems like too much of an adult drinking atmosphere.

FQF probably the best environment of those. Today is was good. I think trash prefers the other 2. But FQF not best venue for kids. A shame re strawberry festival. Those types ruin everything.

I live in the area
you couldn’t get me to the strawberry festival with a gun to my temple.

trashy doesn’t even start to describe the crowd (of all skin colors). And it’s a shame because the organizers and vendors are good people trying to put on a quality event.

I’m confident that 60-75% of this state is not capable of gathering in public peacefully and respectfully
