I'm surprised none of these are on the Tollway to go around Austin.

They give speeding tickets in Texas?

I drove from Houston to Brownsville, and there were stretches of two-lame roads where I was doing 90 getting passed by pickup trucks.

My 5.0 F150 shuts down around 100 as well. I don't drive that fast unless I am pissed off or frustrated with stupid traffic. At which point I don't need to be going any faster anyways. Should probably shut me off around 85 tbh. There is no reason to be driving a full size 4x4 truck that fast in traffic anyways.

Governor kicks in. It stops going faster. Drops down to about 95 and the motor kicks in again.

Both my old Z71 and my F150 both have done it. If you haven't experienced it, it's like it just shuts off gas to the motor around 100 mph.

My stock small Duramax on my Yukon XL will do over 100. Never noticed a governor. Best engine I’ve ever had. If you drive sanely (no fun) you can get 24-25 MPG. So damn quiet too.

One time I was doing 90 in the right lane on I-20 in East Texas, when I saw a Texas State Trooper coming up in the left lane in my driver's side mirror. He was in an IROC Camaro and he passed me like I was sitting still. After letting out a sigh of relief, I laughed out loud. Maybe 10 miles later I topped a hill and see him parked diagonal in front of a Corvette. I don't know if the guy didn't see the cop trying to stop him, and the cop had to cut him off, or what. It was a dangerous situation because they had the whole right lane blocked off and the Camaro's tail end was into the left lane. Thank goodness the traffic had slowed down to around 80 when we all saw the cop.

The average speed in the top 200 was a whopping 130 miles per hour

The fastest I've ever driven was 130 and that was through the Mojave in my old Mustang. At around 129 it started getting a "floating" feeling and at that point...
