Everyone needs to relax. Summer of Hope round 2 (new and improved now to 15 weeks) is right around the corner.

With the amount of money I pay in damn taxes every year, a couple of those boys ought to be in Harvard. I would personally like to invest more in my own boys!!

Hopefully they have another rally this year. Last years was very successful

Don't we already do that with schools and then prisons?

How much is that costing the city? Who is getting paid to do all these events?

In his speech, Paul said the answer to crime prevention is community-building through programs that will keep youth out of trouble and in school. Specifically, he wants to see more resources for young Black males who are statistically more likely to commit crimes. “If we want to continue to see progress and build on the progress that we’ve already seen, then we must invest in Black boys."

A great group project for TD would be create an organization, call it Wavy Gravy, put an LGBTQ+, war vet, minority female as the President, apply for a grant to give cooking classes in the hood (off gardere/staring), and get $100k in grant money, give a summer class to 20 youths, then do a tell all with kiran about how easy it is to dupe the leadership of ebr.

Yeah I noticed wafb tried to bundle all the shootings into one story, but more shootings kept coming in. Their “innocent until proven guilty” placard guy is working overtime

all the ghettos I've been through in BR, that area around Gus Young at Acadian seemed like the worst. I couldn't get the hell out of there fast enough

I had to pick up litter I'm that area for community service. We were a group, with a city official following us in a van. The amount of trash those folks just toss in the ground is abhorrent. Liquor bottles, beer cans, lottery tickets, foil cigar wrappers were the most common thing. Used syringes were commonplace.

Absolutely zero pride in their community.

Which is 10X more than they have in themselves. Absolutely hopeless.

44 homicides for the year, thus far, including the two shooting deaths that occurred in Baker this month for EBRP.

Another murder off of Wilmot Street yesterday afternoon and a triple shooting at Acadian and North Street last night. All 3 in serious condition.

Triple shooting
Has to be some drug turf war going on
All these shootings are likely part of it
Someone is taking back their drug corners
