^^^^^^^^^^^ still Waiting on you to explain your reasoning here

None, I suppose.
Hm. Well would ya look at that. And here you were saying that isn’t the middle ground.

think there is heavy restriction on the full autos though, yeah?
Ya gotta get a special license. Good thing I have one eh? How many lives do you think that saved?
Oh and you do realize that “full auto” guns are damn near useless for actually hitting your target, right? Full auto is for suppression...

So no comment?
Persistent. Okay. By making the firer manually recock the weapon, you reduce the lethality of said weapon. A bolt action rifle still allows a hunter to shoot at prey. A single action revolver still allows you to defend your house. A pump action shotgun is still effective for hunting and home protection.
If your argument is that I have chosen too powerful of weapons, then maybe you can see where I have at least attempted to reach that fabled middle ground that so eludes me.

The current legal status is not middle ground, it's just what gun owners want.

And soon, all of the above will be labeled as "too lethal" after the next shooting.
You don't get any more of my gun rights because you people are not responsible enough to stop taking more away. It's non-negotiable.

No you didn’t. It’s just as lethal. Dead is dead. There’s no varying degrees and lethality doesn’t change. You’re either lethal or non lethal.

So does a muzzle loader. Why do you want bolt action rifles (the most powerful rounds available) available when you can bring it even lower with a muzzle loader?
quote:
A single action revolver still allows you to defend your house.
So will a double action. The double action is also far less likely to accidentally go off. So why would you want people to have a more dangerous version when they can have the same effect with more safety with a double action?
Or did you think double action means it shoots two bullets and single action shoots one?
quote:
A pump action shotgun is still effective for hunting and home protection.
A crack barrel only has 2 shots in comparison to 5+ in a pimp action. Pump actions are also so nasty of a weapon, the Germans tried to have them banned from use in warfare.
If it’s too dangerous for war, why would you want civilians to have them?

No. Your gun knowledge is that of a first grader. You’re an absolute fool and don’t have a single lick of knowledge on the subject.
You are out of your league. Come back when you figure out a little bit more on the subject

Yep. The line in the sand has been drawn. You get no more because you can't be trusted. The end goal of the left is a complete and total ban so they have to be stopped somewhere. This is as good a place as any.

Critical thinking can spring from education and knowledge, and there has never been more opportunity for acquiring both due to the resources on the internet.
I started using telnet and FTP for research about 1988 and was amazed at the free content available even then from nyx.net, and wustl.edu.

And damn, son, I couldn't get even a little kudos for my infantry weapon knowledge?

Why should I be flexible? It says right there in the constitution. “Shall. Not. Be. Infringed”
Also, Mikhail Kalashnikov was a communist pile of shite. Why the frick would I listen to a fricking communist?

No, you don’t. Your asinine views on gun control completely negate any kudos you potientally had coming your way.

Well, any intelligent guy would tell you this isn't universal. There are some things that need to be held fast.
Things in the constitution need to be approached with extreme caution.

Holy hell you retarded frick... where to start with this asinine crap.
What the holy hell is this? I can fire my bolt action rifle, accurately, at a rate of approximately 20 rounds per minute. That's a .30 caliber projectile leaving the muzzle at approx 2800fps. How is this less lethal? That line of thinking is, quite frankly, stupid.
why only single action? How in the frick is a double action revolver more lethal? Do you know anything about firearms?
What are you hunting... turkey? Please, try to come around a corner with a shotgun with a 24 inch barrel. Additionally, there is no rule as to what I can defend my home with. The 2nd amendment isnt to defend your home from an intruder, it is to defend yourself from an oppressive and overreaching government.

I did not read the whole post.
I just know that 5 officers were shot and 2 were critical....
WHAT THE frick could y'all be talking about other than concern for the police officers??????

I would be interested to see your source for this... im guessing it is right along side the bullshite myth that you can't shoot someone with a .50 cal because the bullet has so much velocity itll split someone in half by mearly passing by them.
Dude... the Germans used mustard gas and invented the MG-42, which has the highest rate of fire for a medium caliber machine besides a fricking 7.62 mini-gun. I can't imagine the Germans raising hell over a fricking pump shotgun.
