Which is nuts. I lived in Arkansas when they allowed “member cards” at restaurants. 2011

Makes perfect sense, if you think about it. Beer and liquor lobby in Louisiana makes a ton, has a lot of influence, and is not inclined to open themselves up to having to split their pot so to speak.

My current state is legal. We have tons of ppl from border states. Even truckers which I don’t know how that doesn’t affect their CDL.

Louisiana will be the last to join that list. Y’all are missing out.

here's the thing, i am not personally missing out. i can go to the medical dispensary here and buy 1/2 oz (at a ridiculous price, no doubt) that will last me months. now that that is the case, i'm good.

but the state IS missing out...on jobs, on tax revenues, on economic growth, on agricultural cash crops, etc

its just so, so stupid

Why have to lie and get something on your medical record? In the future, it will most likely be used against you to take away your 2nd Amendment Rights.

I am shocked LA voted in medical weed and yes, will probably be one of the last to vote in recreational.....but we do allow drive thru daiquiri shops. Friends from out of state that come visit are always amazed/surprised when they see this.

Same as Sports Betting. Once all the other states have taken all the jobs and revenues, LA will approve but it'll be too late.

see Oklahoma and Mississippi on sports betting.

Likely won't pass in Arkansas.

The Ammendment is chock-full of kickbacks and exclusivity clauses for only giant corporate interests. The common weed man is almost totally barred from making anything off the industry.

Also, fully legalizing weed typically floods an area with harder drugs (aka fentanyl and opiates) into an area.

I thought the Potato administration was going to re-classify it? Not sure how they feel on giving up their long staple of "vote for me and you'll get legal weed" that never came true.

I’m pro-pot even though I don’t smoke it. I can’t stand the smell of that shite or cigs. What will lowlifes bitch about once it does get legalized?

Well obviously, because they’ll need more to lace the weed with to give out to schoolchildren
